Make a difference for our hungry neighbors
“Everyone can do something.”
– Mother Theresa
Here at Mercer County Food Bank, we firmly believe in those words. It’s the generosity of our community that enables us to feed so many hungry people and there are so many ways you can get involved to support our mission and feed our neighbors facing food insecurity.
Volunteer
Mercer County Food Bank relies on the support of dedicated volunteers. We are continuously in need of volunteers to help us in various areas such as office tasks, distributions, and special events, as well as repacking projects in our Warehouse.
We are happy to welcome individual volunteers, clubs and organizations, corporate groups and more! Volunteering with the food bank is an incredible way to build teamwork and foster collaboration while giving back to the community.
Let’s get started! Follow the button below to fill out the volunteer application or contact Patty Tucker if you have any questions or would like more information about scheduling a volunteer group.
Host a Food Drive
You can make a significant difference by organizing a food drive. Whether you’re an individual, part of a business, a student group, or part of a community organization, your efforts can have a positive impact in Mercer County. Collecting non-perishable food items directly helps alleviate food insecurity, ensuring your neighbors have access to essential sustenance during tough times.
Hosting a food drive is more than just a kind gesture; it’s a practical way to show support and unity within the community. Your contributions, regardless of their size, are vital in the fight against food insecurity. Working together, we can starve hunger and feed hope for our neighbors.
